Role summary

We deal with a wide range of planning and environmental issues and are a committed team that has a strong record of taking proactive enforcement.
The team work together to support improvements for residents in the City. In this role, youll contribute to that work by assisting with a range of tasks, using your communication and problem-solving skills to support compliance and help progress cases under the guidance of more senior team members.
You may be involved in supporting enforcement action where appropriate, which could include helping prepare cases for committee hearings, enforcement appeals, or court proceedings. Youll need to be a good team player, able to work with colleagues and other stakeholders in a professional and constructive way.

Development and progression
As part of your development in the role, youll be expected to complete a course in planning enforcement within the first 18-24 months.
