An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic practitioner to join the Paediatric Theatre Team at the Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital.
About the Department
Our modern, well equipped Operating Theatre Department delivers high quality, family centred 24 hour perioperative care to paediatric patients across a wide range of surgical specialties. We are committed to working in line with Magnet principles, promoting professional autonomy, strong clinical leadership, continual learning and excellence in patient care.
Key Responsibilities
* Work across all areas of the theatre suite and hospital site coverage as senior nurse on call, alongside senior team colleagues.
* Provide leadership and supervision of nurse/Operating department Practitioner students.
* Develop leadership skills within paediatric perioperative setting.
