Our new Supplier Quality Assurance Technician will be reporting to the Supplier Quality Assurance Leader and will be responsible for the daily running of quality-related activities for incoming materials.
You will be working with cross-functional teams to improve supplier performance to agreed metrics. You will also coordinate and make decisions regarding non-conforming product. This is a site-wide role working with the manufacturing teams across the Plymouth site.
Responsibilities
* Perform raw material incoming inspections in accordance with specifications and drawings and prioritize activities.
* Raise Quality Notifications following material rejections, and follow up with applicable vendor or internal production teams on root cause and corrective actions.
* Work cross-functionally with the Supply Chain Team regarding inventory requirements.
* Ensure SAP and FlexNet accuracy through regular reconciliation reviews.
* Action data collection requests and control of trial materials that pertain to site-wide raw material projects.
* Perform raw material stock counts to ensure department accuracy.
* Support the publishing of SQA Quality results on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.
* Provide quality support for internal audits and CAPAs (Corrective Action, Preventative Action).
* Support the SQA Leader and Supplier Quality Engineer on activities such as internal change controls, Test Method Validations and Engineering Change Requests.
* Conduct monthly 5‑S reports.
* Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
* Comply with onsite H&S and GMP Requirements.
Preferred Requirements
* Experience as a QC Technician within a manufacturing environment.
* Experience in the control of inspection, measuring and test equipment.
* Good MS Office skills.
* Strong organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize, balance and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong aptitude for data analysis, trending and reporting.

Salary
£25,000.00 - £38,125.00 GBP Annual.
