Salary: Gbp 40,240 – 60,403 per annum + SEN Point.
Fantastic Primary School – a "Good" primary school in the Borough of Tower Hamlets – is seeking an Assistant SENCO. The role commences in September 2026, is full‑time, and the candidate will be employed directly by the school.
Responsibilities
* Teach in an ARP with six children (non‑verbal/ASD).
* Work with and lead an experienced HLTA.
* Support EHCP applications, including writing and carrying out assessments.
* Initially work within the primary school with a long‑term plan of extending support and leadership to the nursery school.
* Start in September 2026.
* Full‑time, school‑based contract.
* MPS1–MPS6 + SEN Point.
* Located in the Borough of Tower Hamlets.
Person Specification
* Confident working in a fast‑paced environment.
* Strong understanding of SEN required.
* QTS required.
* Able to plan & teach engaging lessons for SEN pupils.
* Maintain high‑level data & administrative tasks.
* Capable of working within a large team.
