Android Developer
My client, a large consultancy, is in need of a Android Developer for a 6 month contract opportunity inside IR35 based in Bristol offering 2 days per week remote but requiring 3 days per week on-site.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Kotlin/Java, Strong knowledge of Android SDK, Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices, Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning, Awesome knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available, for common tasks and benchmarking and optimisation, Proficient in Google's Android design principles, interface guidelines and code versioning
tools, such as Git, Applying SOLID Principles, MVVM/MVI architecture, Android Architecture Components and other Jetpack libraries and Jetpack Compose, Working in a modularised codebase, UI testing.
