My client, a reputable and well-established firm in Blackheath, is seeking a Newly Qualified Litigation Solicitor to join their growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a junior solicitor eager to develop their litigation career within a supportive environment that offers exposure to a varied and interesting caseload. You’ll work closely with experienced solicitors and partners, gaining hands-on experience across a range of civil litigation matters while being encouraged to develop your own skills and confidence.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Managing your own caseload of litigation matters with appropriate supervision.
• Assisting senior solicitors with more complex disputes.
• Conducting legal research, drafting documents, and preparing for hearings.
• Liaising with clients, counsel, and third parties.
• Supporting the team with case management and client correspondence.
About You
This role would suit a recently qualified solicitor, or someone due to qualify shortly, who has completed a litigation seat and is looking for their first post-qualified position.
You will bring:
• Strong academics and sound technical knowledge from your training contract.
• A keen interest in civil litigation and dispute resolution.
• Excellent communication, drafting, and organisational skills.
• A proactive, professional attitude and a genuine desire to build a career in litigation.
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
