We are looking for Business Support Officers to join the Adolescent Service North/West. This is a demanding and challenging role requiring a calm, organized approach and excellent communication skills.
You will work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, providing professional support to Early Help staff. Responsibilities include liaising with families, professionals, and colleagues; arranging and minuting meetings; monitoring the mailbox; handling queries; managing diaries; tracking timescales; acting as the first point of contact for phone queries; and updating case management systems. You should be proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook, and capable of organizing your time effectively and supporting others to meet deadlines and targets.
The work is varied, and you will handle a wide range of issues, working collaboratively with colleagues and sharing duties as required within the team.
This position is subject to a Basic Disclosure application to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
This is a customer-facing role, and the Council has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that postholders have sufficient spoken English/Welsh for effective job performance. Standards are outlined in the Job Description/Person Specification.
