Managed by a team of highly experienced ex-retailers that have set out to transform the way products reach customers; we deliver ambient and chilled, food and non-food products to our UK retail customers. We are expanding rapidly and are constantly looking for the right people to join our team.
The Supply Chain Analyst will play a fundamental role in the growth of Distinctive. Working closely with product supply partners, retail customers and various logistics partners, this is a fantastic opportunity to develop and shape a role and a team.
Responsibilities
This is a hugely diverse and varied role. The purpose of this role is to manage the operational supply chain as the business continues to grow and this will involve such activities as tracking store sales, waste and inventory levels, analysing required supply volumes, processing purchase orders and building transport plans. Working with our partners to track products across the supply chain, as well as liaising and coordinating with retailers and stores.
In order to succeed in this role, you will have:
* Good verbal and written communication skills
* Good commercial acumen
* Background in grocery retail or consumer goods and understand basic concepts in this sector
* Ability to work independently and in an ambiguous environment
* Have strong excel skills
* Good team player willing to roll up their sleeves
Location
* Our office is based in Lichfield and the ideal candidate will be Midlands based
* Work is hybrid and some travel necessary so a UK driving license is required
