Senior Finance Applications Specialist (Oracle EPBCS)
Bupa is hiring a Senior Finance Applications Specialist to support our global Oracle EPBCS platform. The role focuses on ESG and FP&A reporting, system development, and cross‑functional collaboration.
Responsibilities
* Translate functional requirements and Excel modelling into application design and configuration.
* Lead initiatives to identify technology solutions in partnership with Finance Transformation and Project Management.
* Own delivery of new Oracle EPBCS components, including Data forms, Narrative Reports, Data synchronisations, calculations, and MS Power BI reports.
* Provide testing, end‑user training, and post‑implementation support for new initiatives.
* Drive end‑to‑end processes for ESG reporting (Scopes 1, 2, 3) and coordinate inter‑dependencies with other reporting processes.
* Support Management Reporting and Financial Planning during peak cycles and key deadlines.
* Operate Oracle applications, ensuring controls, governance, and configuration improvements to maintain efficient reporting.
* Act as the go‑to system expert for the ESG reporting team, understanding detailed reporting needs.
Qualifications
* Customer‑oriented mindset with strong verbal communication skills.
* Technical and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and present data clearly.
* Deep finance process understanding, especially ESG Reporting, Financial Reporting, or Non‑Financial Reporting.
* Experience with Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) solutions; knowledge of Groovy scripting is a plus.
* Experience operating large‑scale finance systems and models in a complex or regulated environment.
* Project scheduling and workload management within a collaborative team framework.
* Professional accountancy qualification (CIMA/ACA/ACCA) is a plus.
