DBS School Cleaner Location: Various locations in Birmingham Hours: Monday to Friday from 3/3.30pm-6/6.30pm 15 hours a week Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour Immediate start About the Role Working within a school environment, you will play an important part in maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic setting for students and staff. Typical duties include: Cleaning communal areas, hallways, offices, classrooms, canteens, toilets Sanitising high‑touch surfaces and ensuring infection control standards are met Emptying bins and replenishing consumables Maintaining cleanliness in staff areas and facilities Reporting any maintenance or safety concerns Working to strict hygiene and safeguarding procedures Requirements Enhanced DBS certificate dated within the last 12 months or on the update service Previous cleaning experience, ideally in a school Good understanding of COSHH Ability to work independently with high attention to detail Safeguarding training - Blue Arrow can provide this if needed.
