Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Store/ Yard Assistant to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our facilities, both inside and out. The ideal candidate will have mechanical knowledge, experience in landscape maintenance and gardening, basic sales skills, and the ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and farm machinery safely.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and maintain the storage shed and stock
* Maintain machinery and vehicles, documenting as required
* Operate farm machinery safely and efficiently
* Perform general labouring, gardening, and landscaping tasks, including mowing, trimming, planting, irrigating and weeding duties.
* Handle deliveries and driving duties
* Sell items online and in person
* Conduct routine inspections of facilities and report maintenance needs
* Collaborate with team members to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and safely
Experience & Requirements:
* Experience operating farm machinery
* Valid driver's license
* Experience or confidence with online and in-person selling
* Experience in facilities maintenance, landscaping, or construction (preferred)
* Familiarity with horticulture principles and practices is advantageous
* Proven ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery safely
* Good organisational and time management skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Willingness to perform a variety of physical tasks

Hours and salary are negotiable - (Full-time or Part-time hours)
