Who we are?
Located in the heart of the Tees Valley, Bede Sixth Form College is thriving and continues to build on its success. We are proud to have recently achieved an Outstanding rating from Ofsted. As a leading provider of Further Education, we are dedicated to delivering exceptional teaching and support to our students, empowering them to reach their highest potential. Our innovative and destination driven Sixth Form offers a wide range of both A-level and vocational provision to the community. Our teaching and learning strategy is research based and focused on cognitive science. We have invested significantly in professional development to ensure all of our teachers are evidence informed practitioners, continuously developing their own pedagogy to ensure the very best outcomes for our learners. Our teachers work alongside a team of Personal Progression Coordinators (PPCs) to ensure that our learners are supported holistically throughout their time at Bede. We are part Education Training Collective (Etc.), which is a group of colleges in the Tees Valley; Stockton Riverside College, Redcar and Cleveland College, Bede Sixth Form College, NETA Training and Innersummit. Our staff are skilled, high performing and committed to our learners and to the Group’s vision, ONE Etc. – Fuelling ambition and driving success in a resurgent Teesside and beyond. Job role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and forward-thinking teacher to join our thriving Sixth Form team at Bede Sixth Form. We are seeking a dynamic teacher to deliver Level 3 Health and Social Care, inspiring students to achieve their full potential and preparing them for successful futures in higher education and the health and social care sector. Our curriculum includes the CTEC Extended Certificate and Diploma in Health and Social Care, alongside the newly launched AAQ qualification.

Our curriculum is enriched through strong partnerships with employers, universities, and industry professionals, ensuring our learners gain the skills and confidence to thrive in competitive environments.
We are looking for a teacher who:

* Can design and deliver engaging, inclusive lessons.
* Is committed to supporting students through high-quality feedback.
* Enjoys working collaboratively within a supportive and forward-thinking team.
This is a part-time position, however full-time hours may be available for candidates who are able to contribute to other related subject areas. We welcome applications from those seeking either part-time or full-time roles.
Schedule
We have a unique timetable at Bede Sixth Form designed with student and staff wellbeing in mind. Our lessons start from 10 am to 4 pm, and we deliver a maximum of two lessons a day.
