Overview
St Michael’s Hospice Retail is responsible for the operation of the chain of St Michael’s Hospice charity shops, e-commerce and the Donation Centre. We are currently seeking a Manager for our Rye Shop.
Key responsibilities
* Manage a team of volunteers, requiring excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Cashing up, sorting donations, pricing, rotating and ordering stock.
* Development and implementation of new and inventive ways to maximise income and reach targets.
* Management and promotion of Gift Aid and encouraging customers to sign up.
* Ensuring that our Charity Shops are clean and visually inviting, providing a positive shopping experience for our customers.
* Training and recruitment of volunteers, making the shop a rewarding place to work.
* Delivering as much profit as possible to support the work of St Michael’s Hospice.
Working pattern
37.5 hours per week, Monday to Saturday variable days/hours.
