The Role:
As Wedding & Events Manager, your role will include:
6. Carrying out all daily operations of the Conference and Banqueting areas
7. Ensure there is open communications at all times between the operational team and sales team
8. Ensure that all guests are given prompt, attentive service at all times.
9. Ensure that all front of house areas are well presented, and ensure that all maintenance work carried out by the in-house team is up-to-date
10. Plan and coordinate weddings, receptions, corporate events, parties, and other special occasions
11. Prepare event proposals, timelines, contracts, and quotations
12. Conduct venue tours and assist clients with event planning decisions
13. Maintain strong client relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals
14. Promote services through networking, marketing activities, and social media where required
15. Ensure all required standards and procedures of the company are met.
The Person:
The ideal candidate will have:
16. Previous experience in event management, hospitality, weddings, or customer service
17. Excellent organisational and time management skills
18. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
19. Ability to multitask and work under pressure in fast-paced environments
20. Problem-solving and decision-making skills
21. Attention to detail and creativity
22. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and event management software
23. A strong commercial awareness
24. Availability to work shifts, including evenings and weekends as per business needs.
