Overview
Permanent, 37.0 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9:00-17:00. Mental Health for Older Adults Community Service (MHOAS) is looking to recruit Mental Health Nurses with an interest in the mental health care and treatment of older adults with both functional and organic mental health symptoms. The post holders will work within the Care Home and Community Hospital Assessment Team (CHAT). The post requires good skills in organisation, initiative and the ability to work as a lone worker while driving considerable distances across areas of the Scottish Borders.
Responsibilities
* Work within the Care Home and Community Hospital Assessment Team (CHAT).
* Organise and initiate care planning; work as a lone worker; drive across the Scottish Borders to deliver services.
Qualifications
* Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with interest in care of older adults and experience in functional and organic mental health symptoms.
