We are delighted to be recruiting for a Quality Controller for a great company in Milton Keynes.
Purpose of the role
1. Continuous lineside checking of product and process to ensure products manufactured are to the highest food safety and quality standards, ensuring a preventative, right first time approach.
2. Conduct and record continuous product quality and safety focused audits and implemented corrective actions.
3. Audit lineside production paperwork for on-time accuracy and completion.
4. Conduct product sampling and perform product seal and label checks, signing off when required.
5. Audit CCPs daily.
6. Participate in taste panels.
7. Manage incidents (e.g., glass breakage, metal incidents). Support wider quality team with root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions where deviations have been observed to occur.
8. Conduct daily hygiene audits and ensure hygiene schedule completion.
9. Perform glass/brittle material audits.
10. Maintain communication with the team on quality issues.
11. Help a safe working environment in line with Safety, Health, and Environment policies.
12. Work with the Technical Manager to ensure relevant training is completed.
