Electrical Bias Building Services Engineer

A leading Mechanical & Electrical contractor with a strong family culture is seeking an experienced Electrical Bias Building Services Engineer to join their London team. This is a varied role combining electrical expertise with general M&E maintenance, offering stability, career development, and the opportunity to work with a well‑respected business.
Responsibilities
* Service and maintain BMS front‑end systems
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on electrical systems and mechanical plant
* Diagnose and repair faults across electrical and mechanical systems
* Undertake general M&E maintenance tasks, including: emergency lighting tests, water temperature monitoring, AHU and FCU maintenance, minor plumbing repairs, reactive maintenance
* Provide excellent client‑facing service, maintaining strong on‑site relationships
Requirements
* NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation or Maintenance
* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
* Proven experience in PPM, fault‑finding, and repairs on both electrical and mechanical systems
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Computer literacy
* Based within a commutable distance of Central London
