Team: Build Reporting Line : Estate Buildings Manager Direct Reports : Maintenance team Location: Working across multiple WildLand sites in the wild north of Sutherland, Scotland Hours: 45 hours per week; permanent; full time or part time; flexible working available Salary & benefits: Competitive salary, benefits and a great place to work The Role You will be part of the Team who successfully opens an exciting new venue on the shore of Loch Hope, in the stunning Landscape of Sutherland. Your role is to ensure the properties are operationally ready in respect of all property infrastructure, including exteriors, interiors, heating, lighting, electric, fuel systems etc; compliant with relevant legislation; with a maintenance management system which ensures emergency, contingency and annual maintenance plans. You will build a trusted team of local contractors and manage an in house team to provide seamless support to the Operations Team. You will continue to provide operational excellence in a fully operating environment and support the wider Sutherland venues. You will play a key role in ensuring that our people, places, and processes reflect the highest standards of care, sustainability, and hospitality. Key Responsibilities Be a role model of WildLand Leadership and teamwork Align your team with our People Ethos and Health & Safety requirements. Manage your team to deliver consistent high performance. Build a trusted team of contractors and in house maintenance capability Ensure operational readiness for our latest venue opening. Ensure all maintenance work meets operational, safety, and environmental standards. Partner with Housekeeping, Front of House, and Chef Teams to enhance the overall guest experience. Identify and implement opportunities for energy efficiency and sustainable practices. Maintain accurate records and participate in WildLand’s management systems and processes. Who you are You will have a proven track record in property or facilities maintenance, with strong technical knowledge and practical skills.
