What You’ll Be Doing: Providing one-to-one and small group support to students with special educational needs and/or disabilities. Assisting teachers in delivering engaging and accessible lessons tailored to individual learning styles. Creating a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued. Helping students develop confidence, independence, and positive behaviour. Supporting students’ academic progress and personal development across the school day. Working collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and other staff to meet each student’s unique needs. Criteria for Applicants: Experience working with children or young people, ideally with SEND or SEMH needs is desirable. A genuine interest in supporting students with additional learning needs. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team. A patient, flexible, and caring approach to working with children. An up-to-date CV covering the last 10 years (with no unexplained gaps). An enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service ( or willingness to apply for one).
