Crohn’s and Colitis UK are looking for a new HR Operations Manager!
Reporting to the Head of People, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of a proactive and supportive HR service, with an integral role in shaping and implementing improvements in line with the service goals, ensuring the smooth operation of our HR processes, policies, and procedures.

About You
We are looking for someone who is proactive and highly organized, with excellent communication skills to build relationships with all key stakeholders, both internal and external. Ensuring that all staff are trained, supported, and motivated to deliver a consistent, effective, and high-quality service to the organization.
This role is suited to an experienced HR Manager who:
* Has strong knowledge of HR processes, policies, procedures, employment laws, regulations, and best practices.
* Can create fair and consistent HR policies and procedures, conduct regular audits to identify non-compliance, and maintain accurate records.
* Can lead operational planning and budgeting.
* Has a forward-thinking and inspirational vision for HR in a charitable organization.
* Sees how working practices and culture can develop positively.
* Has a proven commitment to access principles in the workplace and is knowledgeable about current issues in EDI, capable of implementing EDI policies.
* Can balance individual compassion with the operational and strategic needs of the organization.
* Has experience supporting and developing managers through change.
* Is CIPD qualified.

Our Location
We are based in Hatfield, Hertfordshire, with good road and rail accessibility. The role offers flexibility for remote work, requiring attendance at the Hatfield office once a week and at monthly directorate meetings. Additionally, there are four annual 'All Staff Together' days at our Hatfield or London office, which are mandatory.
