The Role
We are looking for a Temporary Project Coordinator to support one of our largest projects over the busy Christmas period.
Acting as the central point of contact, this role will ensure smooth communication and coordination between departments and the client, helping to deliver an exceptional service throughout our peak season.
This is a fast-paced, hands-on role that requires excellent organisation, communication, and problem-solving skills. You'll need to stay one step ahead, anticipate challenges, and keep things running seamlessly.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as the main point of contact for all queries related to the project – both internally and externally.
* Coordinate activities across multiple departments including Transport, Warehouse, Sales, Operations, and the Client.
* Monitor project progress, ensuring deadlines are met and any issues are escalated and resolved quickly.
* Maintain accurate records, reports, and communication logs.
* Troubleshoot and problem-solve to keep operations running smoothly, especially during high-pressure situations.
* Support with planning, scheduling, and prioritising workloads to meet project milestones.
* Proactively identify potential risks or bottlenecks and propose effective solutions.
* Ensure all systems and processes are followed correctly and efficiently.

Key Skills and Experience
* Previous experience in a project coordination, operations support, or client service role.
* Strong organisational and multitasking abilities – able to manage several priorities at once.
* Confident communicator with the ability to build strong relationships across departments.
* Excellent problem-solving skills – able to think on your feet and outside the box.
* High attention to detail with a proactive and positive attitude.
* Competent systems user
* Ability to work under pressure and deliver results within tight deadlines.
* Team player with a flexible, can-do approach.
