MS678 - Field Service EngineerLocation: Isle of WightSalary: £35,000 - £40,000 DOE + commissionOverview: First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Commercial Catering Engineer on behalf of one of our clients. This role involves the installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial catering and laundry equipment.Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration. Duties and Responsibilities:
* Responsibilities include fault finding equipment issues, providing technical solutions, and ensuring all work is performed in compliance with safety standards and regulations.
* Carrying out installation of a wide range of equipment from glasswashers to combi ovens and full kitchen schemes as part of a team.
* The successful candidate will be communicating with clients and customers, providing correct guidance and advice, as well as relaying solutions in a professional manner.
* Van, tablet, uniform and tools will be provided.
* Working hours Monday – Friday 0830 – 1630.
* This is a role based on the Isle of Wight so the right applicant must be prepared to relocate.
Skills and Qualifications:
* COMCAT 1, 3 & 5.
* Experience of laundry equipment would be an advantage, but training can be given to the right candidate.
* Experience of working on a wide range of electrical equipment, 18th Edition.
* Strong communication and negotiation skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members.
* Confident in providing training and guidance to clients on proper equipment use and maintenance.
* Technical knowledge in commercial catering and laundry equipment maintenance and repair.
* Proven ability to work independently as well as part of a team and manage tasks effectively on-site.
* Professional attitude with a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
* Valid, clean driver's licence.
