Join Reelables and help us transform how the world tracks packages! We're not just another startup, we're pioneering paper-thin smart shipping labels that use Bluetooth and 5G to track millions of packages globally. You'll be architecting embedded systems that power real-time asset tracking across billion-dollar supply chains. From designing low-level firmware that interfaces with sensors and Bluetooth modules, to optimizing performance for edge devices, your work will directly impact how logistics teams operate globally. Technical Expertise Mastery of C/C++ for embedded systems. Strong experience with Bluetooth LE (BT 5.x) stack integration and development. Ideally, experience with cellular modem firmware (LTE Cat-1, LTE-M, NB-IoT) including AT-command based interfaces and low-level API stack integration. Solid understanding of embedded RTOS environments (e.g., FreeRTOS). Experience with hardware bring-up and peripherals: GPIO, I²C, SPI, UART, ADC/DAC, etc. Proficiency in debugging with JTAG/SWD, logic analyzers, and oscilloscopes. Ability to implement extreme low-power firmware techniques: sleep states, duty cycling, and wake-on events. Knowledge of wireless communication protocols, stacks, primarily Bluetooth, but ideally 3GPP specifications relevant to LTE-M/NB-IoT. Strong skills in version control (Git) for embedded projects. Problem-Solving & Ownership Ability to take ownership of end-to-end firmware development, from prototype to production. Comfortable in early-stage hardware/software co-design and debugging. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills under time constraints. Technical Depth Familiarity with eSIM/eUICC and carrier certification processes (GCF, PTCRB, operator-specific). Experience with over-the-air (OTA) firmware updates, bootloaders, and secure boot and provisioning. Knowledge of security features: TLS, secure key storage, and related encryption techniques Experience optimizing for ultra-low-power IoT devices ( Understanding of mass production provisioning and calibration techniques and best practices. Python for test automation. Domain & Industry Strong prior experience in IoT product development lifecycle (from dev kits, to prototypes, to shipping product). Familiarity with regulatory compliance (FCC, CE, ETSI, carrier lab certification). Nice to have low-level SDK experience with Qualcomm or other major cellular chipset vendors.
