Finance Assistant!
Hourly Rate: £17ph - £18ph (permanent salary will be £33,)

Location: Hackney, Greater London (just 4 minutes from Hoxton train station!)
Working Pattern: Full Time (Hybrid working available!)
Duration: 2-3 months ongoing with potential to go permanent
What You'll Do:
1. Record, process and reconcile transactions using platforms like Spendesk and Xero
2. Manage finance email inbox, addressing queries from schools, universities, and employers
3. Assist with the accounts receivable process, tracking invoices, updating records, and following up on payments
4. Support sales teams with finance-related inquiries and maintain partner records on Salesforce
5. Collaborate with the Finance Lead to manage accounts receivable and payable processes, payroll preparation, and cash flow
6. Contribute to quarterly VAT return checks and assist with ad-hoc projects
Who We're Looking For:
7. Previous experience in a finance or operations role, or relevant skills from other settings
8. Strong organisational and attention-to-detail skills to keep operations running smoothly
9. A quick learner who is eager to embrace new systems and tools
10. Proactive and hands-on, ready to enhance our processes and contribute to company success
11. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, x-lookup) is a bonus!
12. An educational background in Finance, Accounting, or Business is desirable but not essential
