Job Posting Title: Content Security Sr Production Lead (EMEA) Req ID: 10125910 Job Description: The Content Security Sr Production Lead (EMEA) reports into the Sr Manager of the Content Site Security program at The Walt Disney Studios based in Glendale, CA. The modern filmmaking process is highly complex with dependencies on an entire eco-system of 3rd party strategic partners, suppliers and vendors. This program provides assessment, consulting and advisory services to ensure the entire supply chain remains robust and resilient and allows The Walt Disney Studios' to securely create films, features and series seen across the world. Responsibilities Run Site Security assessments end-to-end across the European continent, specifically: Contacting vendors to schedule and scope assessments Executing the assessment Assess vendor against a set of over 400 security controls Assess configuration for various IT infrastructure ranging from network, storage, desktop and cloud-based assets Review content workflow and identify areas that fail to meet best practice or Disney security policy Review network configurations and document risks accordingly Filing issues and writing the final report Tracking assessment to closure (i.e. closing out remediation items) Significant travel required across the European continent Serve as the single Content Security POC for production teams located across the region, this includes supporting banners critical to Studios including Marvel & Lucas. Contribute to Content Security’s control framework which includes: Writing controls that secure both physical and digital assets Drafting questions for Content Security’s questionnaire that help evaluate a vendor’s compliance to each control Contribute to secure configuration guides used to assess and lockdown a variety of technologies used by vendors including virtual sets and virtual headsets Run proof-of-concepts to help optimize the assessment workflow, this includes testing new processes and tools designed to drive efficiency with our assessment methodology Serve as an extended member of Content Security’s Production Security team, providing support on productions occurring across the region. Responsibilities include: Conduct pre-production site visits to evaluate security readiness, identify vulnerabilities, and brief production staff on content protection protocols. Meet with location managers, production crews, and department heads at outdoor or remote filming locations to address content security requirements and answer questions. Attend on-set shoots as needed to monitor security practices, reinforce policies, and handle sensitive production concerns in real time. Inspect stages being used by the production to ensure they meet studio security standards, including access controls, surveillance, and secure storage of sensitive materials. Participate in recurring calls with production teams to stay informed on evolving needs, communicate policy updates, and troubleshoot security issues. Be available for offsite locations, such as unit bases or vendor locations, to ensure studio IP is being handled in compliance with internal security standards. Rapidly respond to unplanned or urgent production needs such as assessing ADR (automated dialogue replacement) stages or new remote locations on short notice. Coordinate closely with departments including Production, Legal, Post-Production, Physical Security, and Technology to align on shared responsibilities and ensure secure workflows. Help raise awareness of content security policies through on-site briefings, signage, and informal Q&A with crew members and department leads. Identify and escalate potential content leaks, breaches, or high-risk scenarios to senior Content Security leadership and assist in response coordination when needed. Basic Qualifications 7 years of experience in information security and/or the following areas: security architecture, security engineering, system and network security, authentication and protocols, cryptography, and application security 5 years of experience with cloud technologies Advanced knowledge of cloud security and infrastructure environments for top tier cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) Prior experience in an architecture, development, engineering, or senior technical role Experience providing product ownership for solutions supporting the Media & Entertainment industry Ability to work in a highly distributed matrixed environment Ability to adapt to new technologies and trends Required Skills • Broad technology expertise with application, system integration, data, and/or infrastructure knowledge • Strong understanding of secure network principles of perimeter devices, servers, and workstations • Working knowledge of configuring and maintaining firewalls and network switching / routing devices (e.g., Palo Alto, Sonicwall, Fortinet, Brocade, Cisco, HP) • Network architecture and layer 2 and Layer 3 routing principles • Vulnerability scanning, SIEM and common methods of exploiting vulnerabilities • Endpoint protection and Data Loss Prevention solutions • Secure configuration of Linux, Windows, and Mac based servers and endpoints • LAN, WAN, TCP/IP connectivity and security protocols (Point-to-Point, MPLS, VPN) • Wireless authentication standards (802.1x) • Directory Services (e.g., Active Directory, Open Directory, LDAP) • Storage solutions (e.g., SAN, NAS, encrypted storage mechanisms) • Digital transfer tools (e.g., Aspera, Signiant) • OS hardening best practices for both servers and workstations • Computer investigation processes and techniques • Experience in the following are desired: Knowledge of studio IT systems, including production and post-productions environments Knowledge of feature film production and post-production industries, services, and workflows (e.g., DI, editing, visual/audio effects, encoding, on-set support Must have strong communication (written and verbal, including presentation) and listening skills Experience in technical project management/leading large scale technology initiatives Strong analytical, organizational and decision-making skills Strong negotiation skills Preferred Education Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, IT Engineering, or a related field. CISSP, CISA/CISM, or CEH designations desired.
