We are now looking for a Front End Developer to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis, working 37 hours per week.

The Role
As a Front End Developer, you will focus on creating exceptional user experiences across our digital estate.
Building web applications for our staff and service users, you will seek to elevate performance to better support our users and enable our teams to provide services that support hundreds of thousands of people across the UK.
Specifically, you will create applications that are feature-rich and easy to use and understand, incorporating responsive user interfaces using React/Next.js. You’ll use TypeScript and Tailwind CSS coupled with organisational branding for style, and insights from user analytics and behaviour tracking tools to ensure we are meeting expectations.
Additionally, you’ll implement automated UI testing to ensure everything works as it should and delivers the performance we require to meet our obligations.
About You
To be considered as a Front End Developer, you will need:
* Significant experience developing web applications for internal teams and external customers
* Proven experience building complex web applications with Next.js
* The ability to implement best practices in usability, accessibility and inclusive design
