Facilities Assistant Department Property Services, Facilities Location Banbury Rank/Grade TVP Broad Band 2E Salary Band 2E, circa £27,449 per annum, plus on call allowance, plus benefits Part/Full Time Full Time Type of Contract Permanent Document Attachment Instance 1 Document Attachment Instance 1 Document Attachment Instance 1 Document Attachment Instance 1 Job Advert In this role you will contribute to the maintenance and upkeep of buildings, plant, equipment and fleet including aspects of Health & Safety (H&S), across a specified area. Undertake maintenance in accordance with skill level, agreed service levels and protocols. Provide an 'on call' service on a roster basis for a region of the force. Duties will include complying with Health and Safety legislation including fire alarms and water testing. You will monitor sites in terms of heating, cooling, site security, cleaning and vehicle fleet administration. Also part of this role will be the primary contact point for the Facilities and Property Services teams for TVP's new state of the art Forensic Investigation Unit (FIU) in Bicester. You will have a good standard of education and good numeric and literacy skills. Experience of working in a team environment is essential together with the ability to prioritise, manage your time effectively and be able to work unsupervised. IT literate in Microsoft Office packages, you will have recent experience of fleet/buildings management. A full driving licence is considered essential as capability to travel across the Force is required in order to undertake assignments in a timely manner and work flexibly.
