Job Title: Rental Return AgentSalary: £26.545.00Hours: Full time, permanent, rotational shift pattern Monday – SundayRental Return Agents are responsible for ensuring that rental vehicles are returned in a timely and orderly manner, and that they are inspected and prepared for the next rental. This position involves interacting with customers, processing rental agreements and payments, as well as conducting vehicle inspections and cleaning.A Rapid Return Agent may also be responsible for providing assistance with directions and travel information, and for resolving customer complaints and issues. This position typically requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Some specific responsibilities of a Rental Return Agent may include:Greeting customers who are returning rental vehiclesInspecting vehicles for any damages or issues, and documenting them using the appropriate tools, and assessing any necessary charges as neededOutline and clarify all final charges to customers and collect the rental agreement receipt signature from themProviding assistance with directions and travel informationConducting thorough vehicle inspections, and ensuring vehicles are prepared for the next rentalCleaning and vacuuming the vehiclesMaintaining accurate records and completing paperworkResolving customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional mannerEnsuring that the rental car lot is organized and well-maintainedEnsuring that safety and security protocols are followed at all timesRequirements:High school diploma or equivalent level of educationFluency in spoken and written EnglishPrior customer service experience, particularly in the car rental, retail or hospitality sectors, with 1-2 years preferredValid driver's license with a clean driving recordOpenness to working flexible schedules, including weekendsProven proficiency in communication and interpersonal skillsA team-oriented approachDemonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and perform well in a fast-paced settingA friendly, upbeat, and proactive attitude.Great rewards for great work:Great customer experiences begin with team members who feel valued and respected.
