Job description
Key focus areas of the role itself and where you will spend the majority of your time:
1. Full account management responsibility, managing our lead grocery customer in Tesco, and Asda, as well as having at least 1 direct report
2. You will devise and deliver exceptional business plans with Tesco and Asda with full ownership of all P&L metrics, with a drive for both sales and profitability, ensuring sales are maximised at key trading periods.
3. You will serve as the primary point of contact for your accounts, handling all day-to-day account management responsibilities and ensuring issues are addressed promptly and relationships are maintained and strengthened with all key stakeholders.
4. You will drive availability of hero sku’s across all store formats (main estate, convenience, dotcom, forecourts, cafes and front of store) constantly identifying growth opportunities and using data and insights to capitalise on these.
5. You will successfully launch key NPD with strong distribution and supporting activation plans - aiming for top class UROS from launch through the right mix of promotional activity, secondary display, POS and on-line / in store media support.
6. You will regularly report on account performance, sales achievements, and market insights to senior management.
7. You will be expected to support with ad hoc coaching and support for other more junior members of the commercial team.
8. Working with a small team you will work across all business functions, operations, finance, marketing and customer service
9. Your role is pivotal in delivering our annual plans and longer term NBF business strategy and you will be a key figure within the NBF grocery team

You will likely be an existing Senior National Account Manager or highly ambitious and experienced National Account Manager looking to develop your strategic thinking and leadership skills.

11. Minimum Education to Bachelors Degree level
12. Established national account management experience within FMCG
13. Numerate and data-led operator, with the ability to work with and interpret complex proposals and insight

15. Excellent relationship builder with strong selling skills to win/influence buyers and internal teams
16. Cross functional collaborator, accustomed to working across broader teams and functions
17. Results orientated with a proven record of delivering account/channel targets
