You’ll be the inspiration of ambitious growth for an already established industrial manufacturing organisation with significant international influence in its product category. You are a recognised, experienced sales leader with an enviable track record of success in B2B sales, direct to customer as well as Distributor universes across the world. Right now, your career is simply not enough to fuel your calibre or personal reward. You are ready to positively step change the performance of a company and own the entire sales plan at the boardroom table.

Our client is a well-known manufacturer of industrial plastic materials, used in automotive, construction, cabling industries and beyond. With revenue heading towards £40m, this subsidiary is part of a wider £120m conglomerate. Recent significant capex investment has raised the Board’s expectations to build even more enterprise, especially in new customer markets across the world, at pace.

Your talent and skill is true sales expertise, knowing how to lead, develop and win business. You are someone with considerable experience in getting the best out of people. You are excited to win large-scale sales pitches, both here and abroad, knowing exactly how to structure business development processes and measures.

Reporting to the MD, with a seat on the Exec table, your critical responsibility will be to raise the expectations of a sales team, who are ready to be led by new ways, ideas and sales processes that will exploit and deepen existing customer relations, as well as generating new opportunity pipeline. You will love the idea of pioneering unchartered territories, where the majority of sales are generated via Distributors. With a growing team under your direction, you’ll bring rigour and discipline, a passion for the drivers that make the numbers jump off the P&L.

To qualify, you’ll have an undisputed, consistent track record in international sales development, knowing the B2B game. Strong commercial curiosity is very much desired. You’ll be a visionary for the long-term future success of the business and your career potential to GM levels will be encouraged.
