Job Title: MIG Welder - Support Stand Fabrication (Caravan Chassis)

Job Role:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable MIG Welder to join our team, specialising in the fabrication and welding of support stands used in caravan chassis manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have solid MIG welding experience, the ability to read technical drawings, and a strong understanding of metal fabrication processes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform MIG welding on mild steel components to create support stands for caravan chassis.
* Operate tools and equipment including grinders, cutters, and welding jigs.
* Follow technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions accurately.
* Inspect finished welds for accuracy, strength, and appearance.
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
* Work efficiently as part of a small production team, meeting deadlines and quality standards.
✅ Required Experience & Skills:
* Proven experience as a MIG Welder, ideally in a production or fabrication environment.
* Ability to read and interpret technical/engineering drawings.
* Experience welding mild steel components (typically 2mm-10mm thick).
* Understanding of welding safety protocols and workshop practices.
* Good attention to detail with a focus on quality.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
