Senior Environmental Advisor
At Telent, you will have the opportunity to be part of something bigger—keeping critical networks connected and protected 24/7. Reporting to the Environmental and Sustainability Manager, the Environmental and Sustainability Specialist (Senior Environmental Advisor) will play a key role in implementing Telent's Sustainability Strategy, supporting Business Units to meet waste and carbon reduction objectives, customer expectations, ISO14001 standards, and legal requirements across Rail and Asset Management divisions. This role involves up to 50% UK-wide travel.
What you’ll do:
* Provide specialist guidance to EHS teams and project leads on environment and sustainability matters.
* Support risk management by establishing environmental assurance regimes and conducting audits.
* Assist in preparing sustainability and carbon reduction plans for contracts and bids.
* Maintain performance data and generate carbon management reports.
* Review environmental aspects and impacts regularly, including climate change risks.
* Embed sustainable and carbon reduction practices throughout project lifecycle stages.
Who you are:
You will have experience in a similar Environmental & Sustainability role within industries such as Rail, Telecoms, Utilities, or Construction.
