About the role We are looking for someone able to provide a high-quality catering service for children, young people, their families, staff, and visitors to Chestnut Tree House, and patients, visitors and staff at St Barnabas House. You will work to planned menus and children, young people’s and adults individual needs liaising with care staff as required. You will prepare catering requirements for events and meetings as required (buffets, working lunches, etc). Other key responsiblities are laid out in the job description. Essential criteria Experience in all aspects of standard cooking Experience in catering for children/young people including special dietary requirements Experience in Food Hygiene regulations and controls Basic Food Hygiene certificate In Head Cook’s absence appropriate menu planning for children/young people’s meals, meetings and functions.
