Salary: G £12,988 - £14,250 a year actual salary (£33,143 - £36,363 a year full time equivalent)

We have a part-time vacancy within the Housing Renewal Team providing supervisory and financial/administrative support to the Strategic Housing Division in a variety of areas of work.
The post has supervisory responsibility for the Right to Buy Service in the Division, Handyperson Service and administrative support in the Disabled Facilities Grant Service and support service. In addition, the post assists with providing a wide variety of financial tasks for the Division including the set-up of new suppliers, preparing Purchase Orders, receipting invoices, payments, accruals and ensuring that accounts are accurate, particularly at financial closedown.
You will need to be flexible, proactive and creative to deal with the work variety and be able to prioritise your work accordingly.

The post-holder will be required to provide a wide range of supervisory support to a number of services within the Strategic Housing Division. In particular, the post is responsible for providing supervision for Housing Services Assistants in the Disabled Facilities Grant Team and and Financial Service the Right to Buy Service and the Handyperson Service.
The post-holder will be required to answer queries directly from our customers.
About You
To be successful in this role, you’ll ideally have…
Experience of dealing with queries from internal and external customers
Knowledge of the Right to Buy process
Experience in financial processes within the Council
Experience of maintaining and updating records
Experience of using Microsoft Office packages including Word and Excel.
to prepare reports, spreadsheets and maintain databases, update systems and process Purchase Orders
GCSE Maths and English at Grades A-C or equivalent.
