Responsibilities
* Execute statutory responsibilities related to reducing the inequality gap, improving and empowering communities and embedding health in all policies.
* Work with corporate departments to achieve the vision of community focused council, support planning and regeneration, housing and support volunteering and empowering communities.
* Oversee active travel policies and support the combined authority health aspects of travel policies.
Qualifications
* Full, part time or job share availability with a track record of delivery as inspirational public health leaders.
* Agile team player with high-level skills across work to enable effective transformation, policy and programme development embedding a public health approach.
Contract & Compensation
Hours: 37 per week or part time/job share considered.
Salary: £83,707 – £87,466.
