Responsibilities
* Provide effective leadership to the In-Room Dining and Executive Lounge teams to meet and exceed hotel and individual development targets
* Ensure compliance with brand standards
* Evaluate guest satisfaction levels with a focus on continuous improvement
* Stay aware of trends and propose ideas to enhance the range and quality of Food and Beverage offerings; organise masterclasses and evening events for executive guests
* Create a sense of community for Executive Lounge guests, helping them feel at home away from home
* Optimise sales and control costs, identifying areas for action
* Set achievable budgets and short- and long-term functional goals
* Maintain consistent communication with Training and Development to ensure teams are trained through structured calendars
* Maintain a strong internal control environment and comply with hotel/company policies and procedures
Qualifications
* Experience managing teams of 5 to 10 members in In-Room Dining, restaurant, or Executive Lounge settings
* Effective management skills and the ability to lead and influence
* Strong negotiation and communication abilities
* Positive attitude and ability to work under pressure
* Good grooming standards
Desirable capabilities
* Experience working with Guest Relations teams and VIP management
* Experience managing payroll, budgets and forecasting
* Familiarity with systems such as Birchstreet, Unifocus and OnQ PMS
* Experience coaching and managing team performance with HR
* Commercial and industry knowledge
