Options for Care is looking to recruit a Quality and Assurance Lead to work across our organisation.
The postholder will lead on clinical quality, regulatory compliance, and risk management across all the Options for Care services. You will work in partnership with the Registered Managers, Head of Therapies and Operations Director to drive continuous improvement across all of the Organisation, promoting consistency and ensuring all aspects of direct care are delivered at the highest quality.
Main duties of the job
Support the quality and performance of CQC Registered Managers, use clinical metrics and data to identify risks and ensure safe, effective care. Provide overall organisational assurance to internal and external stakeholders. Contribute to strategic initiatives including reflective and restrictive practice, policy development and service innovation. Strong understanding of the national and local legislations and CQC regulatory framework. Previous demonstratable experience of Quality assurance and understanding of the audit cycle.

Job responsibilities
A key element of this role is to ensure evidence based clinical interventions are provided to service users, offering clinical leadership through direct support and role modelling best practice. In collaboration with the Registered Managers, Head of Therapies, Health Care Training Lead, and Operations Director the postholder will support continuous clinical and professional development for staff through on the job coaching, mentoring, supervision, and training.

Qualifications
* Professional Qualification
* Degree level education or equivalent
* Professional and personal development related to rehabilitation and recovery
* Experience of working within the mental health sector
* Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
* Able to demonstrate experience of negotiating and influencing change in a clinical setting
* Understanding of infection prevention and control
* Awareness of safeguarding agendas in Mental Health and associated legislation
* Familiarity with current data protection and information governance legislation and guidelines
* Evidence of understanding of the principles of clinical governance and relationship to mental health care
* Knowledge of clinical risk assessment and management
* Delivery of clinical supervision
* Experience of audit, improving practice and reviewing incidents
