Responsibilities

To further strengthen our Safeguarding and MCA DoLS team, we are recruiting an additional Advanced Practitioner to help support the development of our social work practice and work with people we support. You will work alongside two other advanced practitioners, an assistant team manager and the Safeguarding/Dols manager.

As a key member of the leadership team, Advanced Practitioners are expected to play a leading role, assisting their Assistant Team Manager and Team Manager to undertake reflective supervision and facilitate practice improvement, motivating and inspiring our practitioners to provide the highest standards of practice, that delivers positive outcomes for people, carers and their families.

The postholders will provide opportunities for co-working and developing others within the team. Providing coaching and mentoring for team members and students alike, they will help to raise standards of practice and ensure the service delivers a high-quality strength based social work service.

Are you an experienced practitioner looking to take the next step and develop in your career or in a similar senior role and looking for a change? If so, we want to hear from you! In return, we will provide you with a comprehensive learning and development programme and support your future progression.

You will have experience of application of relevant legislation including Care Act (2014) and Mental Capacity Act (2005) and a willingness to participate in ongoing development opportunities.

This is a great opportunity for someone with the right drive and ambition to join our highly motivated team. The successful applicant will share our enthusiasm, contributing to and influencing improved performance at an individual, team and service level.
