Credit Controller\n\nHybrid 3 days in the office per week, circa £45,000\n\nSouth London\n\nOur client is a fantastic, family run, boutique legal firm seeking an experienced Credit Controller, who's primary focus will be credit control, invoicing and financial reporting. You will be working closely with the company's bookkeeper and ensure meticulous process of all accounting responsibilities.\n\nWe are seeking a candidate who is a collaborative, forward thinking, system savvy and can bring new ideas & improve processes.\n\nYour main responsibilities will include;\n\nResponsible for managing and carrying out the credit control process for the firm, including drafting reports and engaging with supervising lawyers (roughly 80% of the role)\nAssisting with the invoicing process, including creating time sheets, drafting invoices and drafting covering emails\nAssisting with the firm's cyclical financial reporting\nManaging the firm's exposure reporting and follow up actions\nTaking payments from clients\nEntering transactions onto client ledgers\nOverseeing and being responsible for quarterly and yearly audits\nAny other activities reasonably falling within this role.The successful candidate will possess;\n\nSolid experience in credit control\nHave great gravitas, accountability & confidence\nGood understanding of Accounts Receivables & Accounts Payable\nExceptional attention to detail\nMethodical approach\nGood communication skills and representing the firm in the most professional manner\nCompetent and confident on Excel and using different/bespoke systemsThis is a fantastic opportunity to work with a highly professional, successful, down to earth and friendly law practice, who want to develop their staff and help them add value in their day to day role.\n\nPlease be aware this advert will remain open until the vacancy has been filled.
