Overview

Reporting to the Sales Manager and working as part of the regional Sales and Marketing team, the Regional Enquiry Consultant is responsible for managing and qualifying all customer enquiries across the region. The role plays a key part in driving sales performance by converting enquiries into high‑quality, qualified leads and appointments for site‑based Sales teams.

The role holder will take ownership of regional enquiry pipelines, ensuring customers receive a timely, consistent and positive experience while maximising the value of each enquiry. Acting as a central point of contact for early‑stage or multi‑site enquiries, the Regional Enquiry Consultant enables on‑site Sales teams to focus on converting qualified leads into reservations.

Key Responsibilities

* Take ownership of all new customer enquiries for current, future and forthcoming developments within the region, ensuring timely and professional follow‑up.
* Act as the first point of contact for customers with area‑based interest or interest across multiple sites, providing a single, consistent Cala customer experience.
* Qualify all new and unqualified enquiries by understanding customer needs, motivations and timescales to improve lead quality.
* Manage leads through the early customer journey, including new and unqualified stages, before handover to site‑based Sales teams.
* Arrange appointments and call‑backs for on‑site Sales teams, enabling them to focus on converting qualified leads into sales or future pipeline.
* Work closely with the Regional Sales & Marketing Director and Sales Managers to understand regional priorities and focus enquiry activity accordingly.
* Provide targeted enquiry support to specific sites, plots or developments as directed by the Sales Manager.
* Identify opportunities to support the sale of challenging plots, house types or final remaining homes.
* Proactively cross‑sell developments within the region where appropriate to maximise sales opportunities.
* Use Salesforce to manage leads, identify gaps in customer information and ensure accurate, high‑quality data is maintained.
* Take ownership of site databases where on‑site Sales teams are not yet in place.
* Maintain, enrich and ensure the accuracy and completeness of customer data within regional databases.
* Re‑engage and re‑qualify large or established databases to identify potential sales opportunities.
* Maximise the value of closing databases by transferring interest to new sites or phases, ensuring full compliance with GDPR requirements.
* Respond to Live Chat enquiries in line with service and quality standards.
* Use available tools, including the MovinOn app, to maintain engagement and progress customers through the qualification journey, including pre‑launch activity.
* Deliver a consistently positive customer experience throughout all interactions with Cala.
* Share best practice and collaborate with Regional Enquiry Consultant colleagues through regular meetings to continually improve effectiveness of the role.
