Overview of the role
Whether you are new to the industry or have a social care background, we welcome your application. Youll receive in‑house training. Working alongside our permanent staff team, you will make a huge difference to people’s lives, and youll enjoy days out, trips away and participation in many activities, ensuring the people we work with are safe, happy and lead fulfilling lives.
Key duties
* Providing personal care – including bathing, toileting, dressing and help with feeding
* Medication administration
* Assisting and getting involved in residents’ daily activities, hobbies or outings
* Following care plan guidance alongside company policies and procedures
* Developing an open, honest, and considerate working relationship with residents
* Maintaining written daily records
* Attending and completing training as required

Where will you work?
Argyll House provides a safe, supportive, caring and active environment for five men and women with severe learning disabilities and complex emotional and behavioural needs. Residents receive personalised support to enable independent living. Activities include arts and crafts, gardening, cooking, trampolining and a regular coffee club. The home is located in north Swindon, two miles from the town centre, with its own transport for local and further excursions.
