Enjoy a temporary to permanent Gas Engineer role offering a company vehicle for daytime use and a fuel card. This position is based in Wrexham, working for a respected and well-established company within social housing.
As a Gas Engineer you will be:
Service, repair and maintain domestic heating systems while following all H&S guidelines, safe working practices, operational procedures, gas safety regulations and specifications.
Take part in out-of-hours work, including overtime and callouts, and carry out any extra maintenance tasks that fall within your remit.
Provide excellent customer service, keep customer satisfaction and safety high, and be flexible with different customers' needs and schedules.
Record all work accurately on your PDA, and report any accidents, near-misses, or potential hazardsI'd love to speak to anyone who has:
Hold ACS qualifications: CCN1, HTR1, CKR1, CENWAT, plus a full UK driving licence, with flexibility and a positive attitude towards varied work and schedules.
Provide excellent customer service with experience working with the public and have strong knowledge of Health & Safety practices and working to best standards.
Have a solid understanding of the legislation and regulations relevant to the ACS modules above and be able to manage your own time and workload independently.
Recognised formal qualifications such as NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) are desirable, along with additional qualifications like LPG or Unvented (also desirable)The Gas Engineer role is offering:
