This role is advertised for 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday), working at our wonderful Melbourn Science Park. We are commercial property specialists operating sites across the UK. What we’re looking for
* Extensive knowledge of health and safety procedures and compliance requirements
* Strong focus on leading building compliance and ability to motivate a small facilities team
* Adept at handling multiple requests in a fast‑paced environment
* Proactive in taking ownership of issues and driving solutions
* Excellent customer service skills, highly responsive to customer requests and service issues, using initiative to meet deadlines and make sound decisions
* Knowledge of general building management systems and computer literacy, able to navigate online systems and portals efficiently

Job purpose
As a Facilities Supervisor, you will work closely with our Customer & Community Operations Manager to bring our spaces to life, being hands on and visible within our space to drive high standards and provide a safe environment for our customers to work in.
What you’ll be doing
* Provide a pivotal role in our day‑to‑day operations
* Coordinate the Facilities Team Members who run our buildings, and implement new processes and procedures that enhance our service
* Oversee and manage the compliance requirements related to building operations, ensuring all health and safety regulations are met
* Be relentless on standards and take full accountability on a daily basis
* Develop a one‑team approach with support teams (Community, Technical, Risk and Asset Management) to ensure a consistent and collaborative approach to getting things done
* Link into the contract management team, feeding in on contract performance at all times; find innovative ways to streamline and enhance service delivery, while keeping an eye on the bottom line
* Coach, develop and mentor your team so that they fully embrace their role in providing a first‑time fix
