Job Description
Your future team:
Join us in powering the future of the UK's critical infrastructure! We're looking for an Electrical Engineer to support the Discipline Lead in delivering high-quality, cost-effective, and on-schedule engineering work packages for both nuclear and non-nuclear projects.
Your missions:
* Assist in managing technical deliverables of Electrical Engineering packages
* Prepare and/or check designs, drawings, analyses, reports, and specs
* Solve technical challenges and support innovative design development
* Plan and review project schedules, budgets & progress using EVM techniques
* Support site inspections and ensure alignment with design intent & regulations
* Supervise and guide junior staff, sharing knowledge and best practices
* Apply lessons learned and maintain detailed records of skills and development

Qualifications/Skills to be successful:
* Degree or HND in a relevant engineering discipline (preferred)
* Chartered Engineer or actively working towards chartership
* Strong understanding of Health & Safety, Design, and Quality procedures
* Experience managing complex designs through the full project lifecycle
* Familiarity with engineering office software tools
* Prior experience with submarine/facility design (conventional or nuclear) is a bonus

On-site role in Plymouth is preferred
