Contentious Probate Solicitor – Northampton/Leicester
Are you a Contentious Probate Solicitor or CILEX Lawyer looking to take the next step in your career with a respected and growing firm? My client is expanding its Private Client Litigation team and is looking for an ambitious Lawyer with an interest or background in Contentious Probate to join its well-respected team.

What You'll Be Doing
* Managing a varied litigation caseload as a full-time fee earner
* Handling pre-claim investigations, legal research and case assessments
* Advising clients on sensitive and contentious probate disputes
* Drafting pleadings, statements of case and court documentation
* Attending court hearings and conferences, with or without counsel
* Ensuring compliance with the Civil Procedure Rules, SRA policies and best practice
* Liaising confidently with clients, counsel, courts and third parties
* Assisting with larger or more complex claims within the team
* Supervising and mentoring junior colleagues
What We're Looking For
* Qualified Solicitor or CILEX Lawyer
* Experience in litigation, ideally with exposure to contentious probate
* Strong understanding of procedural rules and regulatory requirements
* Confident communicator with excellent client-handling skills
* Organised, proactive and comfortable managing deadlines
* Professional, discreet and solutions-focused
While this role would most likely suit a 'mid' level Litigation Specialist, due to the current resources within the litigation team, my client is open to consider CVs for candidates across a wider range of experience.
