As a SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN TA), your responsibilities will include: Supporting students on a 1:1 basis or in small groups with a range of needs such as autism, ADHD, and communication difficulties. Collaborating with the classroom teacher to ensure students receive appropriate educational and emotional support. Assisting in the development of personalised learning strategies and behaviour plans. Encouraging student participation and promoting a safe and inclusive learning environment. Monitoring progress and providing feedback to staff and parents as needed. SEN TA Candidate Requirements: Experience supporting children or young people with SEN is desirable. CACHE Level 2/3 or NVQ Level 2/3 in Childcare or Education is preferred but not essential. A degree in Psychology, SEN, Counselling or a similar field is preferred but not mandatory. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well as part of a team. A calm, flexible, and enthusiastic attitude towards supporting learning. Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
