A well-established and growing engineering business operating within the utilities sector is looking to strengthen its field team with the addition of an experienced Mechancial Fitter.
This is a key hire with a clear succession plan in place, offering the opportunity to step into a senior, hands-on position and play a pivotal role in delivering critical work across UK infrastructure projects.
Carry out installation, maintenance and repair work on wastewater treatment facilities
Occasional working away (typically 3–4 days per week at times, with some longer stints during peak periods)
7+ years’ experience as a Field Service Engineer or similar
~ Strong mechanical “hands-on” background
~ Confident fault-finding and problem-solving ability in the field
~ Confined spaces
~ Engineering qualification (apprenticeship / NVQ / equivalent) desirable
