Operations Engineer

As part of the field engineering and operations team, the Operations Engineer will be responsible for the service, maintenance, diagnostics and optimisation of gas and diesel engine installations across a range of industrial and public-sector sites. You will play a key role in ensuring equipment reliability, supporting reactive maintenance, and enhancing system performance across critical power and energy projects.
Key Responsibilities
1. Carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on gas and diesel engine installations and associated equipment
2. Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and implement reactive maintenance both onsite and remotely
3. Support breakdown response and participate in the established on-call rota
4. Conduct initial fault-finding, troubleshooting and system optimisation to improve operational efficiency
