Job introduction
The successful candidate will complete a Plasterer Level 2 Apprenticeship, working alongside the Repairs and Maintenance team to train and qualify as a Plasterer.
The apprenticeship is delivered in partnership with Portsmouth City College at their North Harbour College Campus. The successful applicant will need to travel to Portsmouth once a week for college, with travel expenses funded by the council.
About the role
This role involves repairs and maintenance of council homes, including repairing or upgrading properties. The apprenticeship supports learning in plastering, with assessments and support from Portsmouth City College and a nominated mentor.
The apprenticeship duration is up to 24 months, potentially shorter if prior learning applies. The role offers experience in applying plastering skills and building relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.

Additional information
