Core responsibilities
1. Work closely with the Head of SEO to create joined-up SEO strategies across commercial and editorial pages, incorporating both content and technical considerations.
2. Optimise landing pages for SEO opportunities including metadata, on-page improvements, internal linking and keyword targeting.
3. Create and publish engaging, keyword-focused content that supports broader SEO strategy.
4. Refresh and optimise existing content to improve rankings, CTR and organic performance.
5. Edit, proofread and quality-check writers’ content to ensure accuracy, clarity and SEO alignment.
6. Conduct thorough keyword research and understand how search intent informs both content structure and technical requirements (e.g., crawl depth, page type, templates).
7. Review client sites for high-level technical blockers (indexation, internal linking, site speed, JavaScript...
